My past teaching experience includes teaching at both the 7-12 secondary education level and within higher education. I am certified to teach 7-12 social studies and history in the state of Connecticut. I have taught social studies and history as well as peer mediation/conflict resolution to students grades 7-12.

As an adjunct lecturer at Central Connecticut State University, I have worked as part of the International Studies department. My undergraduate course, International Studies: Puerto Rico explores the history of the Puerto Rican diaspora as well as the study and interpretation of the Puerto Rican experience in the United States. The course helps students fulfill both international studies requirements as well as work towards the Latino and Puerto Rican studies minor.
