All of my presentations and programs incorporate current research and ideas of intersectionality (a mode of thinking that intersects identities and systems of social oppression, domination, and discrimination). Depending on the presentation, I incorporate research and ideas from a number of different fields of study in a manner that is accessible to a general audience.. Past presentations have included research from the fields of arts administration; American studies; history; Puerto Rican/Caribbean/Latinx studies; psychology; sociology; queer theory; and women’s & gender studies. Rather than using a “one size fits all” approach, I tailor lectures, presentations, and programs to suit the needs of audiences.
Typically, my presentations and programs run 60-75 minutes including time for questions. I also participate in panel presentations, roundtable conversations, and workshops.
