In addition to working in the nonprofit field, José also works as a university lecturer and an independent scholar & consultant. Most recently, he has been involved in coalition-building, public education, advocacy, voter mobilization and designing grants programs supporting arts & wellness. His recent work includes speaking about contemporary issues at college campuses and regional conferences. His past work includes coordinating conferences, art gallery management, and community programing.
